Press the button again to stop the temperature setting. The heater will then
continue to heat continuously without taking into account a set temperature.
Note 1: The heater will start heating when the set temperature is at least 3 degrees higher
than the measured ambient temperature.
Note 2: When the set temperature is reached, the heater will stop heating and the fan will
continue to run for 60 seconds to blow the residual heat out of the heater. The heater will
start heating when the set temperature is at least 3 degrees below than the measured
ambient temperature.
Switching off with remote control
7. Press to put the heater on standby, the fan will only cool down for 60 seconds to
blow the residual heat out of the device when the heater is in heating mode: the
display counts down the seconds and the fan indicator light stays on.
To switch the heater off fully, press the on/off button to 'o' and remove the
plug from the socket. If the heater is not working, always remove the plug from the
socket.
Security
Anti-tilt protection
The device is equipped with anti-tilt protection that shuts off the device if it accidentally
tips over. As soon as you put it upright again, the heater returns to standby mode but
switch it off first, remove the plug from the socket and check the heater for damage. In
the event of damage or abnormal functioning, do not use it and take it for
inspection/repair!
Overheating protection
The overheating protection switches the device off if it becomes too hot inside. This can
happen if the device is unable provide sufficient heat or draw in enough fresh air. The
cause is usually because the device is (partially) covered, the air inlet or outlet openings
are blocked, or it has been placed to close to a wall, for example. Once the device has
cooled down sufficiently, it should automatically resume operation, but if you do not
remove the cause, it will probably repeat shutdown. Regular overheating can result in
irreversible damage. When the overheating protection switches off the device, turn off the
on/off button, remove the plug from the socket and allow the device to cool down.
Remove the cause of the overheating and start using the device normally. If you cannot
find the cause for the overheating and the problem persists, stop using the heater and
submit it for inspection/repair.
