Operation buttons (Remote Control)
POWER button
Turns the unit on/off.
MODE button
Use this button to set the operating mode (see pages 17 and 19 for more
information)
FAN button
Use this button to set the fan speed (see page 17 for more information)
/ buttons
Use these buttons to increase/decrease the room temperature and timer.
SLEEP MODE button
Use this button to set or cancel sleep mode operation (see page 20).
SWING button
Use this button to start or stop automatic swing (see page 17).
Using the remote control
To operate the air conditioner using the remote control, aim the remote at the
signal receptor in the unit (see page 9). It will only operate at a distance of up
to 5 m. There should be no objects blocking this signal.
The remote control operates using two 1.5 V AAA batteries. See page 28 for
more information on how to install or replace these batteries.
