Type: Convertible
Last date made: Current
First made: 2016
Weight limits: 5 to 40 lbs. rear facing,
22 to 65 lbs. and at least 2 years old forward facing.
Harness: 5-point harness
Harness: Shoulder straps are attached to a splitter plate behind
seat. There are two loops on harness straps. Use upper loops for
infants and lower loops for larger children. If using upper set of
loops, harness must be attached to splitter plate as shown in
diagram 1. Pull strap end in front of seat to tighten harness. Press
lever at lower front of seat and pull on shoulder straps to loosen.
Lap straps are threaded through slots near childs hips to
underside of seat. Harness adjuster strap must be routed OVER harness
strap on underside of seat.
Harness slots: There are six sets of slots. Top three sets of slots may be
used for forward facing. Bottom four sets of slots may be used for rear facing.
To change strap slot height, remove straps from splitter plate, thread through
desired slots and re-attach to splitter plate.
Crotch strap: There are two positions. Use the one closest to, but not under,
child. Crotch strap is attached to a metal anchor under the seat. To change
position, feed anchor up through slot to top of the seat and re-thread through
desired slot. Use configuration shown in diagram 2 only for child 10 lbs. and
under, and only if necessary.
Angle adjustment: Restraint has 4 recline positions. Use position 1 or 2
(diagram 4, pg. 2) for rear facing, positions 3 or 4 (diagram 5, pg. 2) for
forward facing. No portion of base of child restraint may extend beyond
vehicle seat when child restraint is rear-facing. Recline indicator is arrow on
label on side of restraint (diagram 3). A rolled towel or small
blanket may be used to achieve correct rear-facing angle.
