entangled in the moving parts.
While mowing grass, wear substantial footwear and long trousers. Do not use the equipment
if you have bare legs or open sandals;
Avoid accidental starts. Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting the plug.
Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools when the
switch is in the on position makes accidents more likely.
Service
Your power tool should be serviced by a qualified specialist using only standard spare parts. This
will ensure that it meets the required safety standards.
Specific safety instructions for lawn mower
Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used and remove all objects
which may be thrown by the machine (stones, sticks, metal wire, bones, etc)
Work only in natural light or under good artificial lighting conditions
Before using, always carry out a visual inspection, particularly of the blade, seeing that the
screws and cutter assembly are not worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged blades
and screws in sets to preserve balance.
Do not mow excessively steep slopes
Avoid operating the equipment in wet grass
Do not tilt the lawnmower when switching on the motor, except if the lawn mower has to be
tilted for starting. In this case, do not tilt it more than absolutely necessary and lift only the
part which is away from the operator
Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the lawnmower towards you
Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating parts. Keep clear of the discharge opening at
all times
This power tool is double insulated. This means it has two completely independent types of
insulation that prevents the operator to come into direct contact with the electric cables. This
measure is a high degree of protection against electric shock.
Application
This equipment is intended for personal use for grass and lawn cutting in garden. For the best
results, you should avoid overloading the engine by cutting wet grass or use grass collector full.
IT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR PROFFESIONAL USE.
