Cutting height adjustment. (fig 7, fig 8)
The cutting height is adjusted by attaching the wheels to the required hole. All the wheels
must be at the same height. MAKE THIS ADJUSTMENT ONLY WHEN THE BLADE IS
STOPPED.
For most lawns, the average height is recommended. The quality of your mowing will suffer
and collection will be poor if you cut too low.
Fixing of extension cords (fig 4)
Plug the power plug with extension cord socket, The extension cord should be H05VV-F
2X1,5mm². Set the extension cable to the cable hooks (7) to avoid damage by the blade.
Operation
WARNING! IN case of any abnormal noise, immediately turn off the tool and
contact an authorized service facility for repairs
Clamp the cable onto the cable-hook before starting the equipment.
Switching ON and OFF (fig 9, fig 10)
Connect the tool to the power supply. Start the motor carefully according to instructions and with
feet well away from the blade. If it is necessary to tilt the machine to encourage the motor to start
on grass, it should only be tilted from the front.
The motor is controlled by a dual action switch to prevent starting it accidentally. To start, press the
safety button (3) and pull the lever (1). The motor automatically stops on releasing the lever
FIRST disconnect the cable extension from the supply socket and THEN from the side of the
lawnmower's switchgear
WARNING: Blade continues to rotate after machine is switched off.
Ensure that the blades have stopped rotating before starting the machine again
Grass cutting
While cutting:
Ensure that the electric cable is always behind you and on the area of grass already cut
Walk, never run and do not allow yourself to be pulled along by the lawnmower.
The lawn's appearance will be improved if it is always cut to the same height and is cut in
alternate directions
Whle operating on slopes:
o Mow across the face of slopes, never up and down.
o Exercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes Do not mow on
slopes of more than 20°.
Exercise extreme caution when pulling the lawnmower towards you
Warning! The motor is protected by a safety cut out which is activated when the
blade becomes jammed or if the motor is overloaded.
When this occurs, stop the machine and remove the plug from the power supply. The safety cut
out will only reset when the switch lever is released. Clear any obstruction and wait for a few
minutes for the safety cut out to reset before continuing to mow. At this time do not operate the
switch lever as this will prolong the reset time of the safety cut out. If the mower cuts out again,
increase the height of cut to reduce the load on the motor
