2. High Pass Filter (HPF)
This knob controls the input frequency range for amplificaon. Therefor you can cut out the boom
Frequency with a range from 0Hz to 300Hz ahead of amplificaon for a limited Output Signal.
Note: The boom frequency range ever effect into most stress to the amplifier and loudspeaker.
Cung boom frequencies ahead amplificaon increase the energec balance and longlife of your
Equipment while the Distoraon of Sound get decreased and higher output Levels are possible.

acve underseat Subwoofer for a perfect audio quality even of the boom frequency range.
3. Subwoofer RCA PRE Output and REM Output Signal
Via the included interface the EXCURSION PXA 45 provide a PRE Low Level Signal for the PXA B8
underseat Subwoofer or EXURSION SXA or HXA MONO Amplifiers as well other Power Amplifiers.
At same me it can provide a 12V REM TURN ON/OFF Signal for proper funcon of all Amplifiers.
Note: The most common way of installaon within our recommondaon will be, via the 1,8m
20 Pole ISO Harness, at the front underseat locaon of car. Therefor, for this short distance, is
only a RCA Male Adapter demanded to the EXCURSION PXA B8 underseat Subwoofer.
4. ALARM (Protecon Indicator)
The ALARM LED indicator will light up and flash if there is fault presented to the amplifier,
like short circuit, overheat or under voltage protecon and the amplifier will stop working.
5. POWER (Working Indicator)
The amplifier will go into normal working status aer complet self-check and light up LED indicator.
6. Connecon of EXCURSION PXA with the Car Audio Source (Picture see Page 5)
(Please use our professional EXCURSION 20 Pole Plug & Play Harness, which is oponal)
Male Connector will be plugged into the car Harness, which has been disconnected ahead.1.
Female Connector will be plugged into the Audio Source unit. 2.
20 Pole Connector will be plugged into the EXCURSION PXA 45 Amplifier3.
7. POWER CAP (acity)
Within EXCURSION SMART OEM Upgrade Concept we focus to the basic handicap of all kind of
Plug & Play installaon = limitaon of the Power and Ground cable wiring. Too small diameter
of the Power Cable effect into losses of voltage at higher consumpon demands. Less Voltage
effect direct into losses of Power and Sound Quality with much higher Distoraon of the Signal.
Especially in challenge with all kind of music material every amplifier need stable power supply
to perform at its best fine and rough dynamic according the origin recording without distoraon.
In order to perform at its best quality we recommend to hook up at all kind of Plug & Play installs
an extra Power Capacity. This local Energy Storage provide quick impulsiv discharge power supply
while connous stable recharging of the Capacity Storage via the Plug & Play harness is possible.
The Power Capacity Storage follow in size the total consumpon. Sure increase in case further
PXA B8 underseat subwoofer or Power Amplifiers get distribut connected via the CAP Terminal.
Note: Oponal Power Capacies are recommend in short distance with 12Volt Caps & AGM Baeries.
