kPa)rangetomakethetirecircumferencesmatchas
closelyaspossible.
3.ForFMDDeckSerialNos.599,999andlower:
Checkthetirepressureinthepneumaticfrontcaster
tires.Adjustthetirepressureto16psi(110kPa).
ForFMDDeckSerialNos.600,000andhigher:
Thefrontcastertiresaresemi-pneumatic.No
adjustmentisnecessary.
InstallingtheMowerDeck
1.Locatethedrivewheelreleasevalvesontherear
cornerofthehydrostaticpumps.
2.Witha5/8inchwrench,turnbothvalvesoneturn
counterclockwisetoreleasethedrivesystem.
3.Rollthetractortothemowerdeckassemblyand
allowthetractorassemblytotipbackwarduntilthe
rearoftheenginedeckcontactstheground.
4.Carefullyremovethetwohairpinsandspacersfrom
thefrontdecksupportpinsandlowerthefrontof
thedecktotheground.
5.Carefullyremovethetwohairpinsfromthereardeck
supportpinsandlowertherearofthedecktothe
ground.SeeFigure1.
6.Installthemowerdecksupportframetotractor
enginedeckandsecureusingeight3/8-16x11/4
