Do you have a question about the EXOST Mini Aquajet and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

This document describes the EXOST MINI AQUAJET, an RC vehicle (MFR No. SK17028) suitable for ages 5 and up. It is designed for both land (4x4) and water (boat) operation.

Function Description:

The EXOST MINI AQUAJET is a remote-controlled vehicle that can be operated on land and in water. It features a transmitter (remote control) for controlling its movement and mode. The vehicle can move forwards, backwards, turn left, and turn right. A key feature is its ability to switch between 4x4 land mode and boat mode, activated by a button on the remote control.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Age Category: 5+
  • Risk of Suffocation: Contains small parts, not recommended for children under 3.
  • Frequency Band Range: 2400 - 2483.5 MHz
  • Maximum Radio-Frequency Power: <10 dBm
  • Transmitter Power Supply: DC 6V / 0.5W; requires 4 x 1.5V "AA" / LR6 / AM3 batteries (not included).
  • Car Power Supply: DC 6V / 9W; requires 4 x 1.5V "AA" / LR6 / AM3 batteries (not included).
  • Operation Temperature: 5 - 35°C
  • Receiver Category: 3
  • Maximum Operating Distance: The distance between the transmitter and vehicle should not exceed 25 m for optimal performance.

Usage Features:

Battery Installation:

  • Transmitter:
    1. Open the battery compartment.
    2. Insert 4 x 1.5V "AA" batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
    3. Replace the cover.
  • Vehicle:
    1. Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the vehicle is set to OFF.
    2. Open the battery compartment.
    3. Insert 4 x 1.5V "AA" batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
    4. Replace the cover.
    5. The toy must be operated in water only when fully assembled according to the instructions. Do not immerse the vehicle in water unless the battery compartment is properly closed and locked.

Starting and Operation:

  1. Start the car.
  2. To move the car forwards or backwards, push the throttle lever (or press the trigger, depending on the model) forwards or backwards.
  3. To turn the vehicle left or right, press the steering lever to the left or right. Alternatively, depending on the model, turn the steering wheel or move the two levers in opposite directions for rotation.
  4. To stop the vehicle, release the throttle lever.
  5. For best performance, always point the antenna towards the car.
  6. Press the button on the remote control to activate either the boat mode or the 4x4 mode.

Safety Circuit:

During use, the internal power in the electric circuit can become quite high (e.g., during a 360-degree spin). In such cases, a safety circuit will shut down the vehicle for approximately 1 minute. During this period, the car will not respond to signals from the transmitter. This is not a defect but a safety measure to protect the electronic circuits. After this period, the car will resume normal operation.

Troubleshooting Guide:

  • Ensure the vehicle power is ON.
  • Verify that the batteries in both the transmitter and vehicle have sufficient charge.
  • Check if the batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
  • Ensure the distance between the transmitter and vehicle does not exceed 25 m.
  • If two or more vehicles of the same frequency are used, they may interfere with each other. In such a case, move to another location or try again later.

Battery Warnings:

  • Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the product before recharging.
  • Rechargeable batteries must be recharged under the supervision of an adult.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries or new batteries with old batteries.
  • Only use batteries of the recommended type or an equivalent type.
  • Insert batteries respecting the + and - polarities.
  • Used batteries must be removed from the product.
  • Do not short-circuit the power terminals.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), and rechargeable batteries.

Safety Precautions:

  • Parents should read the instructions with their children before first use.
  • Stop the vehicle with the remote control before picking it up.
  • Keep hands, hair, and clothing away from moving parts when the toy is operating.
  • Do not use the radio-controlled vehicle in the street.
  • Avoid collisions with people, animals, and furniture.
  • Any changes or modifications to this product not expressly approved by the responsible party may void the user's authorization to use the product.
  • Wires should not be inserted into socket-outlets.

Maintenance Features:
