Summary

Steering Stabilizer Installation

Battery Disconnect and Tire Alignment

Disconnect the vehicle's battery and align front tires straight ahead prior to installation.

Remove Factory Steering Stabilizer

Remove and discard the original steering stabilizer and its associated hardware from the truck.

Attach Stabilizer Shaft to Frame Bracket

Connect the stabilizer shaft end to the original frame bracket using provided rubber bushings and cup washers.

Connect Stabilizer to Draglink

Attach stabilizer to draglink with tapered sleeve, spacer, bolt, and washers, torquing to 60 ft. lbs.

Recheck Fastener Torque

Perform a recheck of all nuts and bolts to ensure they are torqued to the specified values.

Perform Front-End Alignment

Conduct a front-end alignment and set it according to the vehicle's factory specifications.
