First Use
Make sure you understand all the components and features of the Veronica Steam
Generator Iron. Always remove packaging materials and labels before rst use.
Some parts of the steam iron are lightly lubricated and therefore some smoke may be
released when operating for the rst time. This situation will pass after a short time.
Remove the protective cover of the base plate and clean the base plate with a soft cloth.
The Veronica Steam Generator Iron is designed for use with normal tap water. As
minerals and other components in the regions where the water is descaled, which may
cause corrosion of the Steam Boiler Iron, It is recommended to mix the tap water and
pure water in a ratio of 1:1.
NOTE!
There may be water droplets inside the water tank or around the main body when
installing the appliance. This situation is due to the tests carried out after the
production of 100% of our appliances. The appliance has never been used; and has
been manufactured to serve you for many years.
Filling the Water Tank
Before plugging in the appliance, open the water tank opening clamp by pulling it
towards you and ll it with water, and pay attention to the MIN and MAX lines on the
water tank. Close the clamp by pushing it forward.
NOTE!
Steam iron is designed for use with tap water, but if your water is very hard, it is
recommended to use puried water. The water reservoir must be drained after each
use.
Usage
• Place your appliance on a solid table, bench or ironing board.
• Adjust the thermostat control button by turning it according to the suggestions in the
table below.
