V2 TRANSMITTERS MULTIPOWER MODE INTRODUCTION
V
transmitters have three power modes to balance signal strength and
battery life. V
transmitters are etched with a "V
" on the stainless battery
compartment (not on the label) and have a multipower mode sticker around
the IR port.
If used with a Falcon locator without the programmable power mode, the
mode selected while pairing the Tx determines the signal range and the
battery life.
Falcon locators with programmable power mode override any other
selection method when used with a V
transmitter.
FTR Sub-k are not V
capable.
