What to do if Fanmaster IDH2-20 motor does not start and E1 is displayed?
- MMatthew AlexanderJul 31, 2025
If the Fanmaster Heater displays 'E1' and the motor won't start, first, check the power supply and voltage to ensure they are adequate. Then, inspect the fuse and replace it if needed. Examine the power cord for any faults or damage, replacing it if necessary. Also, the motor or capacitor might be faulty, so check them and replace if needed. Finally, if the heater previously overheated, it may be in lock-out mode. To resolve this, identify the cause of the overheating, shut down the heater, check the air inlet and outlet, wait 5 minutes, and then restart the heater.
