• Never use metal containers or utensils
(particularly aluminium) inside the microwave,
as this will damage the appliance and may
cause sparks or, at worst, a re.
• Never try to operate the oven with the door
open, as it could result in dangerous exposure
to microwave energy. You must never modify
or alter the locking system.
• e oven must not be used if it is damaged.
Itis particularly important that the door shuts
correctly and that all of the following parts are
maintained in good condition:
– a) Door (should not be askew),
– b) Hinges and latches (must not be broken
orloose),
– c) Door seals and sealed surfaces.
• Objects must be placed at least 30 cm above
the oven.
• Regularly clean the window and door seals to
remove any traces of splatter or other residues.
