1. Setthethermostatknobtotheoposition(0)thenunplugtheappliance.
2. Removethefood.
3. Pushupwardtoremovethelightshield.
4. Unscrewthebulbandscrewanewbulbofthesameshapesamepower(230V-10W
E14base).
5. Attachthelightshield.
CLEANING
1. Unplugtheappliance.
2. Removeallsubstances.
3. Cleantheinsideandoutsidewallswithacleanspongeorsoftclothusingwarm
wateror1teaspoonofbicarbonateofsodato1.2litersofwater.
4. Rinsewellandwipedrywithacleansoftcloth.
Iftheapplianceisnottobeusedforalongperiodoftimethenitisrecommendedto
removeallthefoodstu,cleantheinsideoftheapplianceandleavethedooropento
allowtheairtocirculatethusavoidingunpleasantodors.
Beforecallingforservicepleasecheckthefollowing.
THE APPLIANCE IS NOT WORKING.
• Checktheplugisinsertedcorrectlyintothemainssocket.
• Checkthereispowertothemainssocketbyplugginganotherappliancein,ifthe
otherappliancedon’tworkseither,checkthefuseintheplug.
THE APPLIANCE IS NOISY WHEN OPERATING.
• Checktheapplianceislevelanditisnotincontactwithanotherapplianceor
kitchenfurniture.
THE APPLIANCE DOES NOT COOL SUFFICIENTLY.
• Ifthedoorhasbeenopenedtoooftenorithasbeenleftopenforawhileitwill
taketimefortheappliancetoreachitssettemperature.
• Checktheairowovertherearoftheappliancehasnotbeenreduceddueto
insucientclearance.
• Checkifalargequantityoffreshfoodhasbeenintroduced.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Afterdefrostingisnishedcleantheinsidewithasolutionofwarmwaterwitha
littlebicarbonateofsodaandthendrythoroughly.Washallremovablepartsinthe
samewayandreassemble.
• Reconnecttheappliancetothemainssupplyandleavefor2to3hoursonsetting
number7beforeintroducingthefoodbackintothefreezerandsettingthe
thermostattoyournormalsetting.
NOISE FROM YOUR APPLIANCE
• Youmaynoticesomeratherunusualnoises.enoisesarecausedbycirculation
ofrefrigerantinthecoolingsystem.Ithasbecomemorepronouncedsince
theintroductionofCFCfreegases.isisnotafaultandwillnotaectthe
performanceofyourfridge.
PROLONGED OFF PERIODS
• Iftheapplianceisnotinuseforalongperiodoftime,proceedasfollows:
1. Disconnectfromthemainssupply.
2. Cleananddrytheinside(see‘Cleaningandmaintenance’).
3. Leavethedooropentopreventanyunpleasantsmellsfrombuildingupwhilethe
applianceisnotinuse.
