OPERATION
CAUTION: During operation, the appliance produces hot steam. Keep clear of the
top of the appliance.

accessories when the appliance is plugged in and switched on.

Let the appliance cool completely.•
Clean the appliance (• Cleaning).
Assembly
Place the appliance on a clean, at and stable surface.•
Open the lid • (3) and place the lter housing (14) in the appliance (ill.

NOTE: Ensure to align the lter housing (14) correctly (ill.

Place the permanent lter• (15) in the lter housing (14) (ill.

).
Assemble the charcoal lter holder • (1) and lter (2) (ill.

).
Place the charcoal lter holder• (1) in the water tank (5). Ensure it is placed in the
mounts (ill.

).
Close the lid • (3) (ill.

To disassemble, follow the above steps in reverse order. •
Using the appliance
Use the appliance for brewing and keeping coee warm.
NOTE: The appliance has a rated power of 650W. Before plugging it into the wall
outlet, ensure that the electrical circuit is not overloaded with other appliances. This
appliance should always be operated on a separate 120V ~ 60Hz wall outlet.
CAUTION: Always ensure there is water in the water tank (5) before using the
appliance. Do not use the appliance without water. Do not use hot water for
brewing. Do not overll the water tank (5). Do not use the appliance without the
carafe (10), lter housing (14) or the permanent lter (15).
Assemble the appliance (• Assembly).
Add the required amount of ground coee into the permanent lter • (15) using
