  First, make sure the Farberware Mixer is properly plugged into a working wall outlet. Check your fuses and circuit breaker to ensure the outlet is energized. If the mixer still doesn't work, set the speed control knob to '0', unplug it, and let the motor cool down for at least 20 minutes before restarting. If it still fails, the appliance may be malfunctioning, in that case set the speed control knob to the '0' position, unplug the appliance and contact qualified personnel to check and repair it.

Why is the drive shaft on my Farberware Mixer rotating slowly?

  If the drive shaft of your Farberware Mixer rotates very slowly or not at all, it could be due to too much food in the bowl or an overloaded motor. If there is too much food, remove the bowl, take out some of the ingredients, redistribute the remainder, and restart. If the motor is overloaded, turn and hold the speed control knob counterclockwise to the 'P' position for a few seconds and then release it. Repeat this until you achieve the desired result.
