CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
- Do not immerse the power cord with plug (5) and / or motor unit (4) into
water or any other liquid (ill.

). Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or
scouring pads (ill.
t
). Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning, before using or
storing the appliance. Ensure that no water enters the appliance housing.
- The blades are very sharp. Clean carefully. Danger of injuries!
- Be careful not to damage or lose the seal.
t All parts, apart from power cord with plug (5) and motor unit (4), can be fully
immersed in water and are dishwasher safe (ill.

).
t Clean the motor unit (4) with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
t Clean the interlock mechanism (3) using a small brush.
CAUTION:
- Any food residue left in the interlock mechanism (3) could cause the appliance
to malfunction or cause it to operate without being assembled correctly.
NOTE:
- Always clean all parts that have come into contact with food in soapy water
immediately after use and before storage.
- Dry all parts and surfaces thoroughly before use. Make sure that all parts and
surfaces are completely dry before connecting the appliance to a wall outlet.
- Remove the seal ring from the emulsifying blade unit (2) and replace it with a
new one in case the seal ring is damaged. Never use the emulsifying blade unit
(2) without a seal ring.
Storage
t Before storage, always make sure the appliance is completely cool, clean and dry.
t It is recommended to store the appliance in a dry place.
t Never wrap the power cord (5) around the motor unit (4). Always use the
supplied cord strap (5).
t Store the appliance on a stable shelf or in a cupboard, preferably in its original
packaging. To avoid accidents, ensure that both the appliance and its power cord
(5) are beyond reach of children or pets.
