  • Insulation Foam: Contains flammable gas.
  • Electrical Connection: The appliance must be earthed, and its parameters (voltage, frequency) must be compatible with the mains power supply.
  • Spare Parts Availability: Thermostats, temperature sensors, printed circuit boards, light sources, door handles, door hinges, trays, and baskets will be available for 7 years after the model is discontinued. Door gaskets will be available for 10 years.

Usage Features

  • Temperature Regulation: The temperature can be adjusted by turning a regulator clockwise for lower temperatures and counterclockwise for higher temperatures. A medium setting is generally recommended.
  • Freezing Fresh Food: The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food. The maximum amount of food that can be frozen within 24 hours is specified on the rating plate.
  • Storage of Frozen Food: For optimal storage, it is recommended to run the appliance for at least 3 hours before placing products in the freezer for the first time or after a period of non-use. Freezer drawers facilitate organization, but for large quantities, all but the bottom drawer can be removed to ensure good air circulation.
  • Thawing: Deep-frozen or frozen food can be thawed in the refrigerator or at room temperature. Small pieces can be cooked directly from frozen, though cooking time will be longer.
  • Door Reversibility: The door hinges can be reversed to open from the opposite side. This process involves removing the top cover, unscrewing hinges, tilting the appliance, unscrewing the bottom hinge and adjustable feet, installing the pin in the opposite hole, screwing the bottom hinge on the other side, installing the rubber support, fitting the door, installing the upper hinge, and replacing the top cover.
  • Rubber Supporting Pad: An optional rubber supporting pad can be installed if the appliance becomes unstable due to food being placed only on door shelves.

Maintenance Features

  • Cleaning the Interior: Before first use, and periodically, the interior and accessories should be washed with lukewarm water and neutral soap, then dried thoroughly. Abrasive products, chlorine, oil-based cleaners, or metal objects should not be used.
  • Periodic Cleaning: The appliance and its accessories should be cleaned regularly. Door seals should be checked and wiped clean to ensure they are free from debris.
  • Defrosting the Freezer: The freezer compartment should be defrosted when the frost layer reaches 3-5 mm.
    1. Switch off the appliance or unplug it.
    2. Remove stored food and place it in a cool, insulated area.
    3. Leave the door open.
    4. Protect the floor from defrosting water.
    5. To speed up defrosting, place a pot of warm water in the freezer compartment.
    6. Remove ice pieces.
    7. Dry the interior thoroughly.
    8. Switch on the appliance and close the door.
    9. Set the temperature regulator to maximum coldness for three hours before returning food.
  • Drain Examination: Regularly examine and clean the appliance's drain to prevent defrosted water from collecting at the bottom.
  • Service and Repair: For repairs, contact an Authorised Service Centre and use original spare parts. Self-repair or non-professional repair may void the guarantee and have safety consequences.
  • Lamp Replacement: The appliance is equipped with a long-life LED interior light. Only service personnel are authorized to replace the lighting device.
  • Disposal: Disconnect from mains supply, cut and discard the mains cable, and remove the door to prevent entrapment. The appliance contains ozone-friendly refrigerant and flammable insulation foam. Contact municipal authorities for correct disposal information and avoid damaging the cooling unit near the heat exchanger.
  • Periods of Non-Operation: If the appliance is not in use for long periods, disconnect it from the electricity supply, remove all food, defrost, clean all accessories, and leave the door open to prevent unpleasant smells.
