Tie an Outbound and Return together – Track by RMA Number

You can also tie Outbound and Return shipments together to track both shipments at the same time and

to obtain cross reference information on the invoice.

Existing field 1538 Search relationship type code is modified to allow a new field for RMA number. The

value for RMA Number on this field should be 10. The actual RMA number shall be passed in existing

field 1537 Search Relationship string.

Customers can pass in an RMA number on a REGULAR NON-Returns ship in the Global 020 transaction.

Then the customer can process a Return shipment and put in the same RMA number. Finally, when the

customer tracks by this particular RMA number, all tracking numbers are returned.
