The Fehom Home Dehumidifier, model PD08F, is designed to efficiently reduce humidity in various indoor spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, basements, offices, and storage rooms, creating a healthier and more comfortable environment.

Function Description:

The dehumidifier operates by drawing in humid air, removing moisture, and then expelling drier air. It features a control panel with several buttons for easy operation:

• POWER Button: Turns the dehumidifier ON or OFF.
• MODE Button: Allows selection between three working modes: DEHU (Dehumidification), DRY (Laundry Dry), and CONT (Continuous).
• TIMER Button: Sets an automatic ON/OFF timer for 1-24 hours.
• HUMI Button: Adjusts the desired humidity level within a range of 30%RH to 80%RH in 5% increments.
• SPEED Button: Selects the fan speed between high and low. Higher speed provides quicker moisture removal, while lower speed offers quieter operation.
• LOCK Button: Activates or deactivates the child-lock function, disabling other buttons when active.
• Full Bucket Icon: Illuminates to indicate when the water collection bucket is full.

Usage Features:

The Fehom dehumidifier offers several intelligent and convenient features for optimal use:

• Humidity Setting: The device automatically detects and displays the current room humidity. In dehumidification mode, users can set a target humidity level. The machine will operate until the room humidity reaches the set level, then stop, and restart if the humidity rises again. Setting the humidity to 30%RH activates continuous dehumidification mode.
• Lock Setting: A child-lock function can be enabled by pressing and holding the LOCK button for 3-5 seconds, preventing unintended changes to settings.
• Timer Setting: Users can program the dehumidifier to turn on or off automatically after a set number of hours (1-24 hours), providing flexibility and energy saving.
• DRY (Laundry Dry) Mode: In this mode, the dehumidifier runs continuously at high fan speed, specifically designed to help dry clothes. The HUMI and SPEED buttons are disabled in this mode.
• CONT (Continuous) Mode: This mode allows the dehumidifier to run continuously until the water bucket is full. The HUMI button is disabled, but the SPEED button remains available for fan speed adjustment.
• Overflow Protection: When the water collection bucket is full, the dehumidifier automatically turns off, and the "FULL" indicator flashes. Operation resumes once the bucket is emptied and reinserted.
• Convenient Drain: The dehumidifier offers two drainage options:
  • Manual Drain: Water collects in the removable bucket, which needs to be emptied manually when full.
  • Auto Drain: For continuous operation without manual emptying, a 6.56ft hose can be attached to the drain outlet, allowing water to drain continuously. It is crucial to ensure the drain hose is positioned lower than the drain port (by at least 3.9 inches) and is not bent.
• Smart Functions:
  • Auto Shut Off: The unit automatically stops working when the bucket is full or when the room humidity reaches the preset level.
  • Wait 3 Minutes Before Resuming Operation: To protect the compressor, the unit will pause for 3 minutes after a complete cycle before restarting operation.
  • Auto Defrost: If frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor cycles off, and the fan continues to run until the frost disappears. The POWER indicator flashes during this process.
  • Auto Restart: In case of a power outage, the dehumidifier will automatically restart with its previous settings (working mode, set humidity, fan speed, etc.) once power is restored.
• Drying Clothes: The dehumidifier can be effectively used to dry clothes in rainy weather. For best results, hang washed clothes in a small space (like a cloakroom or bathroom), keep the machine away from water drips, and set the humidity to 30% RH, directing the air outlet towards the wet clothes.

Maintenance Features:

Regular cleaning and proper storage are essential for maintaining the dehumidifier's performance and longevity:

• Cleaning the Dehumidifier Body: The exterior of the unit should be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Cleaning the Filter: The air filter should be pulled out and cleaned regularly. Dust can be gently removed with a vacuum cleaner. If the filter is very dirty, it can be wiped with warm water and a mild detergent, then dried completely before reinserting. The filter should be cleaned every two weeks.
• Water Tank Care: The water tank should be cleaned with cold or warm water. Harsh detergents, steel wools, chemically-treated dust cloths, gasoline, benzene, thinners, or other solvents should not be used, as they can damage the tank and cause leaks. It is crucial not to remove the float inside the water tank, as this can impair the sensor's ability to detect water levels, leading to leakage. When replacing the water bucket, ensure it is properly seated to allow the overflow prevention sensors to function correctly.
• Storage: For long-term storage, the water tank should be emptied, the power cord rolled up and tied, the filter cleaned, and the machine stored in a cool, dry environment.
• Pre-use Precaution: Before initial use, the product should be left standing in an upright position for 24 hours to protect against internal damages before plugging it in.
• General Safety: Always turn off and unplug the dehumidifier from the power source before cleaning or performing any maintenance. Avoid placing the machine near heat or flammable goods, and do not insert objects into the air inlet or outlet. Ensure the machine is placed on a flat surface and keep other objects at least 7.9 inches (20 cm) away from it for proper ventilation.
