EDID switch
A connected TV, AV receiver or projector signals its capabilities (e.g. supported picture resolution & sound format) via EDID. If
you are using one stereo audio device and one 5.1 audio device, the source will normally only provide stereo audio. This is often
not desired. With the EDID switch on the VAX00100 you can manipulate the mode and thereby set it manually:
2.0 The HDMI source delivers stereo sound, which is available at the two RCA sockets
Auto bypass, /no change, output of 2.0 /5.1 / 7.1 sound possible
5.1 The HDMI source provides 5.1 sound (if available) through the Toslink output
