Installation Process

  1. Bracket Selection:

    • Determine if your PC case requires a full-height (12CM) or low-profile (8CM) bracket.
    • Attach the appropriate bracket to the Wi-Fi card using the provided screws. The manual illustrates both full-height and low-profile options.
  2. Card Insertion:

    • Locate an available PCI Express x1 slot on your motherboard. The card is also compatible with x4, x8, and x16 PCI Express slots.
    • Carefully insert the Wi-Fi card into the chosen PCI Express slot until it is firmly seated.
    • Secure the card to the PC case using the screw provided with the case or the card's bracket.
  3. Bluetooth Connection (if applicable):

    • If your FV-AX3000 card includes Bluetooth functionality, you will need to connect the provided Bluetooth cable.
    • Locate a 9-pin USB header on your motherboard, typically labeled "USB" or similar.
    • Connect one end of the Bluetooth cable to the card and the other end to the motherboard's USB header. The manual shows the correct orientation for the D- and D+ pins.
