IMPORTANT - Within the European Union, a crossed-out
wheelie bin symbol on the product, documentation or
packaging indicates that the product cannot be disposed of
in the regular household waste stream, in compliance with
EU Directive 2012/19/EC and with current local regulations. The product
must be disposed of at recycling centres or authorised waste disposal
centres for electrical and electronic equipment, in accordance with current
legislation in the country where the product is found. Incorrect disposal of
this type of waste can have a negative impact on the environment and
human health, caused by the potentially hazardous substances produce
by electrical and electronic equipment. Correct disposal of these products
will also contribute to the efficient use of natural resources. Further
information is available from the product retailer, the competent local
authorities and national manufacturer’s organisations.
Congratulations on having chosen a Ferplast pump.
All Ferplast pumps (BLUPOWER and SMART) are completely submersible
and have been designed to ensure total respect for the health of the
fish and plants in your aquarium, with the utmost simplicity of use and
in absolute safety. Every pump has been designed, built, checked and
inspected in accordance with the EN 60335-2-41 international standard.
MAINTENANCE
Important: always disconnect the plug from the power supply before
removing the pump from the water or carrying out any maintenance.
• Clean the intake grilles regularly, checking that they are not blocked.
• Clean the pump rotor every 3-4 months.
1 Remove the cover (on the BLUPOWER 900-1200 it is necessary to press the
button on the top of the pump - see figure A);
2 Take out the rotor and clean it with a soft brush and warm water (DO NOT
use detergents or abrasives).
3 Reassemble the pump.
ADJUSTING THE FLOW OF WATER
• For BLUPOWER 250-350-500-600 and SMART, just turn the reducer on
the pump outlet. Turning in a clockwise direction increases the flow;
turning it anti-clockwise reduces the flow.
• For BLUPOWER 900 and 1200, just move the reducer vertically: up to
increase the flow and down to reduce it.
PARTS AND ACCESSORIES
Parts for the pump are available from the retailer where you bought it.
A full range of constantly updated Ferplast accessories is also available
for adapting your aquarium to your individual needs. To replace any part
and always ensure the full working order and safety of your product, use
only Ferplast original parts. Installing non-Ferplast parts nullifies the
guarantee.
GUARANTEE
This product all its parts and accessories are covered by warranty within
the limits provided for in this paragraph and the legal regulations
currently in force. The guarantee only covers manufacturing defects
and includes the repair or replacement of the product free of charge. The
guarantee does not cover damage and/or defects caused by carelessness,
wear, unsuitable usage not complying with the instructions and warnings
in this manual, accidents, tampering, incorrect use, bad repair work or
purchases not accompanied by a scal receipt.
