1. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 Introduction
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing Pegasus, a FERROLI fl oor-standing boiler featuring advanced design,
cutting-edge technology, high reliability and quality construction. Please read this manual carefully
and keep it for future reference.
Pegasus is a high-effi ciency heat generator for central heating running on natural or liquid gas (confi gurable
at the time of installation) and regulated by an advanced electronic control system.
The boiler shell consists of cast-iron elements whose particular shape guarantees high exchange
effi ciency under all operating conditions and an open-fl ue burner equipped with electronic ignition
and ionization fl ame control.
The boiler is also equipped with a temperature limiter (safety thermostat) and a device to control
fume evacuation (fume thermostat).
Thanks to the electronic ignition and fl ame control system, unit operation is for the most part
automatic.
The user only has to set the temperature desired inside the home (by means of an optional room
thermostat, whose installation is recommended) or regulate the temperature of the system.
