SERVICING THE AIR FILTER
Dirty air fi lters reduce engine performance by supplying the carburetor with too little air. Therefore, regular checks
are very important. The air fi lter should be inspected every 20 operating hours and cleaned if necessary. If there is
a lot of dust in the air, the air fi lter should be checked more often.
1. Loosen the wing nut and remove the air fi lter cover (Fig. 8a)
2. remove the fi lter (Fig. 8b)
3. Clean the air fi lter only with compressed air or by shaking it
4. Place the fi lter in place and secure the cover with the wing nut
Important! Never clean the air fi lter with petrol or other fl ammable solutions.
