The CA100 FindTracker Tag is a GPS asset tracker designed to help users locate tagged items using Bluetooth and GPS location technology. It requires compatible devices running iOS 9.0 or higher, or Android 5 or higher.

Usage Features:

Getting Started:

Download the App: Users must first download the FindTracker app. A QR code is provided in the manual for easy access to the download link: www.findtracker.com/download.
Start the FindTracker Tag:
- Gently pull out the insulating film from the tag.
- A single ring sound indicates successful power-up.
- Ensure Bluetooth is active on the user's phone.
- Verify that location services are enabled on the user's phone.
Launch the App: Open the FindTracker app and click the "+" icon to add a new FindTracker Tag.
Detect the Tag: The app will automatically detect the tag. Users can then select an icon and enter their contact information.
Provide Contact Information: Once activated, the user's phone number or email will be bound to the tag until it is reset to factory defaults.

Operation:

Activation Confirmation: If successfully activated, the FindTracker Tag will ring two times.
Retrieve Key: If required, a 16-digit retrieve key can be found under the tag's battery.

Searching - Nearby:

The "Connect" icon in the app will light up when the FindTracker tag is nearby.
Clicking the "Ring" icon will activate the FindTracker Tag's ringer, helping to pinpoint its exact location when close.

Searching - Long Distance:

For long-distance tracking, another person with the FindTracker app enabled and Bluetooth active on their phone must be near the tagged item.
The phone nearest to the tag will transmit its location to the FindTracker server.
Map View: Tap on the "Globe" icon within the app to open a map displaying the tag's location.
Navigation: Tap on the "Red Arrow" icon to open a navigation app and create a route to the tag's location.

Maintenance Features:

Battery Replacement:

Gently pry off the plastic cover of the tag.
Remove the old CR2032 battery.
Replace it with a new CR2032 battery.

Disposal:

Used batteries and electronics should not be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste.
Recycle or dispose of all electronic waste according to national, state, and local regulations.
Recycle at a household hazardous waste facility or an e-waste facility.

Limitations and Owner Responsibilities:

The manual states that every effort has been made to verify accurate instructions, but BendPak Inc. reserves the right to change information without obligation for previous equipment and is not responsible for typographical errors.
Users should consider the legality of using a tracking device in their region, as some states prohibit installing such devices on motor vehicles without consent or using them to track individuals without consent.
Display and functionality limitations may occur when using the FindTracker service on mobile devices, depending on wireless network coverage, speed, geographic location, and telecommunications provider.
The service should not be used while operating a motor vehicle or in any manner that could endanger the user or others.
Location information obtained while using the service will be used solely to return the estimated location of the asset and to provide personalized results/services.
Users agree that the use of any mobile or handheld device is at their sole risk and must comply with all applicable laws.
By using the service, users agree to receive applicable software updates.
BendPak Inc. and its providers expressly disclaim all warranties and conditions, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and those arising by statute or other law or from a course of dealing or usage of trade.
Some provinces and states do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so this disclaimer may be limited in its applicability.
Users assume all risk for loss or damage to their monitored asset or its contents, and for personal injury to persons occupying or affected by their monitored asset.
