Function Description:
The Finnleo Twilight Indoor Free-Standing Sauna is a pre-built, panel-constructed sauna designed for indoor use. It provides a controlled environment for sauna bathing, featuring a heater, benches, lighting, and a digital control system (SL2 Control). The sauna is designed for easy assembly with pre-built panels and includes all necessary hardware and accessories. It aims to provide a relaxing and therapeutic experience through elevated temperatures.
Important Technical Specifications:
- Heater: Requires a licensed electrician for wiring. Rocks are placed after initial testing. Refer to the heater installation manual for specific details (e.g., Himalaya manual).
- Control System: SL2 Control (SaunaLogic 2) for managing temperature, time, and lighting.
- Temperature Range: Adjustable from 119°F to 194°F (90°C). Default setting is 194°F.
- Sauna Length Time: Adjustable from 0 to 60 minutes. Default setting is 60 minutes.
- Delayed Start: Up to 24 hours.
- Lighting: LED lighting strip with adjustable brightness (25%, 50%, 75%, 100% output) and color options (White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Aqua, Purple, Rotation of Colors, Off). Lights turn off automatically 10 minutes after the sauna cycle is completed.
- Audio System: Sauna360 Audio with Bluetooth connectivity. The device name for pairing is "Sauna360 Audio."
- Construction: Panel-built design with tongue and groove connections. Base rail, top rail, and trim pieces are labeled for easy assembly.

Usage Features:
- SL2 Control Operation:
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER icon to turn on the sauna and heater. The control displays room temperature.
- Temperature Adjustment: Press the temperature icon, then "+" or "-" to adjust.
- Time Adjustment: Press the timer icon, then "+" or "-" to adjust sauna length time.
- Delayed Start: Press the delay icon to set a delayed start time (up to 24 hours). Press again to toggle off.
- Lighting Control: Press the light icon to cycle through lighting options. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn off lights. Adjust brightness using "+" or "-".
- Audio Operation:
- Power On/Off: Press the Bluetooth icon to toggle the audio system on or off.
- Pairing: Pair with a mobile device; the device name is "Sauna360 Audio."
- Control: All operations (except volume) are controlled by the mobile device. Volume is controlled by the mobile device.
- Apple Product Warning: Apple products may not be warranted if used outside 32°F-95°F. Check device manufacturer's operating temperatures.
- Safety Features:
- Door must not be tampered with or have a latching/locking system installed to prevent entrapment.
- Ventilation openings must remain unobstructed.
- Rocks must be placed in the heater according to instructions.
- Caution against using alcohol, drugs, or medication due to increased hyperthermia risk.
- Warning against prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures leading to hyperthermia.
- Fire hazard warning: Do not use the sauna for drying clothes, hang towels above the heater, or place objects other than supplied rocks in the heater. Discontinue use if wall darkening around the heater is noticed.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Periodic cleaning is needed to remove perspiration and dirt. Benches and floorboards can be scrubbed with a stiff brush and mild detergent. Light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper is an option.
- Interior Finish: Never apply paint or stain to the interior of the sauna due to harmful off-gassing when heated. The only approved product is 100% Pure Paraffin Oil, which provides an invisible layer of protection from moisture stains and can be applied to walls or bench tops.
- Patching Nail Holes: Small nail holes from trim installation can be filled with wood filler matching the wood, followed by light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper. Alternatively, white glue can be used with sanding dust to fill voids.
- Troubleshooting (SL2 Control Error Codes):
- Sn: Sensor not connected to the CB box. Check connections.
- HL: High Limit switch in sauna heater not connected to the CB box. Check connections.
- JP: Jumper CN 6 missing from the Main PCA in CB box.
- Pre-Heat: No sensor connected to the CB or temperature is below 8°F.
