  If your FireAngel Security System alarm is chirping intermittently, first, verify the alarm's location. Ensure the chirping is actually coming from your alarm and not another device. If the amber LED flashes approximately every 45 seconds with a chirp, replace the unit within 30 days, as it indicates a low battery. If it chirps every 4 hours, it signals that another networked alarm has a low battery; locate and replace that alarm as soon as possible, and definitely within 30 days.

  If the amber LED in your FireAngel Security System is flashing at a different time than the chirping sound, it indicates a fault, and the alarm should be replaced as soon as possible. If the amber LED is double flashing along with the chirping, this indicates a low battery condition or a fault in the wireless module, requiring immediate replacement of the alarm.

  If your FireAngel Security System alarm isn't sounding during testing, firmly push the center of the test button. If it's newly fitted and still fails, contact Technical Support. If you're 'learning-in' the alarm and it doesn't test, repeat the learning process.

  If the green LED on your FireAngel Security System isn't illuminating when the mains power is on, ensure the alarm is correctly placed on the base plate. Also, check that the mains power supply is turned on. Inspect the circuit breaker or fuse in the power circuit connected to the alarm. If issues persist, call a qualified electrician to inspect the house wiring and connection.

What to do if my FireAngel Security System alarm fails to learn-in to a network?

  To resolve a failed learn-in to a network for your FireAngel Security System alarm, first 'unlearn' the alarm. Press and release the learn-in button on the back, then immediately press and hold it until the red LED goes out. Release the button; the LED will flash twice, followed by three quick flashes, indicating successful unlearning. You can then proceed with the learn-in process.
