Best Practices
Cleaning
The Pulse is rated for IP67 and as such can be
cleaned with soap and water without risk of damage.
It is recommended to wash by hand rather than in a
dishwasher.
Insertion
Keep in mind that the thermal mass of food being
cooked may influence the external sensor’s results.
Lab testing shows that the external sensor’s readings
can vary from ambient grill temperatures by 10-30°F,
depending on insertion depth.
