INTRODUCTION
It is important that the information contained within this booklet is followed for reasons of
safety, proper installation and operation.
The Firefox series of OGF/27 (ME & ZC) gas log res burn with a live naked ame and
mimic the appearance of a real wood burning re. It is important therefore to treat the appliance with
care and respect as you should with any live naked ame apparatus. Suitable for indoor/outdoor
installation only where the appliance is fully protected from the elements.
Do not modify this appliance.
MODEL DEFINITIONS
Primarily a Decorative Appliance - not certied as a space heater.
There are two gas log re versions in the Firefox OGF 27 series range.
(i) OGF/27-ME (Masonry Enclosed)
This gas log re version is only suitable for use in masonry (non
combustible) enclosures. See Installation example A.
(ii) OGF/27-ZC (Zero Casing)
This gas log re version is suitable for use in timber framed and plasterboard
(combustible) enclosures. See Installation example B.
