z Unpack generator, check if all the items included.
z Using a funnel to pour the supplied oil into the crankcase, according to the regulated
oil capacity.
z Move generator outside to a flat, level surface, away from doors, windows and vents.
z Remove fuel cap and fill with regulated gasoline fuel by using a funnel.
z Turn fuel valve under tank to ON position.
z Move choke control lever fully to choke position.
z Turn on engine switch.
z Start generator by slowly pulling on the starter rope handle until resistance is felt. Then
pull cord rapidly to overcome compression to start the engine.
z Slowly move choke control lever fully to the running position as the engine warms.
z Plug in items to be powered, using only grounded extension cords.
Do not overload generator or electrical cords.
z Before shutting engine off, unplug all electrical loads.
z Let engine run for 2 minutes.
z Turn engine switch off.
z Turn fuel valve off.
z If generator is to be stored for longer than 30 days, refer to the owner’s manual for
further instructions.
