Cable Assembly Instructions
1. Remove shipping retainer (PS)
and contact block
SEALED VERSION UNSEALED VERSION
Shielded clampUnshielded clamp
2. Slide piece parts over the cable
(possibly with parts in plastic tube)
3. Strip cable and wire
4. Fit wire into contact barrel and crimp
CRIMP CONTACTS
SOLDER CONTACTS
Plastic tube (BDS) with cap (PE) Shrinkable tubes for better
terminal insulation
3'. Strip cable and wires
4'. Tinning of strands recommended
Extraction tool for contact
replacement
5. Inserts contacts into
insulator and push them
home by means
of insertion tool

Solder iron
5'. Solder each wire to the
corresponding contact
Pull shrinkable tubes over
contact terminals and shrink
Half shell
Ring
9. Slide washer, seal and clamp
against the ring and retain the
screen between ring and washer
6. Slide the ring to the front end
7. Bend cable screen outwards
8. Insert half shell and retain with the ring
11. Push the cable assembly
into the body, orienting
the guides to the slots
12. Screw clamp nut to the
body and tighten by
means of wrenches

is now finished

Sealed Version Cable Assembly

Step 1: Remove Shipping Retainer

Step 3': Strip Cable and Wires

Strip the cable and individual wires to prepare for termination.

Step 4': Tinning of Strands

Tinning of wire strands is recommended for better solder connection.

Crimp Contacts Assembly

Step 5: Insert Contacts into Insulator

Insert contacts into the insulator and push them home using an insertion tool.

Step 6: Slide Ring to Front End

Slide the retaining ring towards the front end of the assembly.

Step 7: Bend Cable Screen Outwards

Bend the cable screen material outwards to prepare for connection.

Step 8: Insert Half Shell and Retain

Insert the half shell and retain it in place using the ring.

Solder Contacts Assembly

Step 5': Solder Wire to Contact

Solder each wire to its corresponding contact terminal using a solder iron.

Step 9: Slide Washer, Seal, and Clamp

Slide washer, seal, and clamp against the ring, retaining the screen between ring and washer.

Final Assembly Steps

Step 10: Trim Screen Strands

Trim any protruding screen strands to ensure a clean assembly.

Step 11: Push Assembly into Body

Push the cable assembly into the connector body, aligning guides to slots.

Step 12: Screw Clamp Nut

Screw the clamp nut to the body and tighten it securely with wrenches.
