Press the on/off
power button.

Press the control dial.
A tone will sound.

While the burner-ready light is glowing,
turn the dial clockwise to light the gas.
Note: if the burner-ready light goes out
before you light the gas, press the dial
again.

Place your pan on the pan supports.

The dial and the pan supports
will rise. The burner-ready
light will then glow for four
seconds.
