DishDrawer® features a water softener that
can be adjusted to give the best performance
given the water hardness of different areas.
The salt reservoir must be filled with granular
salt made for dishwashing water softening
systems for water softening to occur. There is
a salt indicator light on the salt reservoir cap
that is black when there is enough salt in the
reservoir for the wash programme that has
been selected, and red when the salt
reservoir is empty. For LCD models, the
electronic display also indicates the salt
reservoir is empty.
Using hard water can be detrimental to
performance, causing glasses to become
opaque and dishes to become spotted or
covered in a white film. The DishDrawer®
water softener is adjustable to different water
hardness and comes with a salt indicator light
to alert the user the status of the salt
reservoir, for the best wash performance.

Drying Performance

The unique drying system of DishDrawer® uses an energy efficient
fan and residual heat from the post rinse. Water is drained from the
machine after the last rinse is complete, and the fan starts pulling air
through the drawer and absorbing water from the dishes. DishDrawer
models have a faster fan than previous models, further improving
drying performance.
DishDrawer® dries dishes in a method that is efficient and
economical. The fan uses negligible amounts of energy compared to
a conventional dishwasher, where the main element cycles on and off
for a period of time and uses unnecessary energy.
Quiet Operation

• A fan is used to dry the dishes, pulling air through the drawer and
absorbing water from the dish load. This method is far quieter and
more efficient than conventional washers that pulse the element
on and off to dry the dishes.
DishDrawer® Phase 6 Classic design models are even quieter than
previous models.
DishDrawer® has been designed for peace and quiet in the kitchen,
through use of premium materials and an emphasis on noise
reduction in design. Running a single DishDrawer® by itself reduces
noise even further.
