Gypsies ed to the Atlanc Horizontal windlasses are ideally suited to handling our factory
made Rope/Chain combinaon rodes, which consist of rope spliced to a chain tail. See 4.24.2
Specicaons for details.
Ropes used must be windlass grade, medium lay nylon. Ropes from dierent manufacturers
have wide variaons in stretch and consistency in diameter. Therefore, rope and chain from
othermanufacturers may require some experimentaon to determine the opmum size.
Should you have diculty in matching a gypsy to your chain please consult

• Electric drill and 10mm (3/8”) drill bit
• 76mm (3”) Hole Saw
