5. INSTALLATION
5.1 FAN INSTALLATION
The fan is installed either together with a roof curb or by using
the installation frame on a base frame built separately for the fan.
5.1.1 INSTALLATION WITH ROOF CURB (BOGA EI30),
ALL VERSIONS SIZE 225 ONWARDS (FIGURE 7).
1. Install the sealing tape (within the delivery) on the roof curb.
2. Lift the fan and place it on the roof curb, see point 4.4.
Please check, that:
– base frame of the roof fan is over the roof curb, do not
damage the gasket
– safety switch and cable grommets shall be on the same side
of the fan. This defines also the position of the hinges
(standard for insulated version, other versions as accessory).
3. Fasten the roof fan through the base frame to the roof curb
with four M8 screws.
