(EN) INSTRUCTIONS
Assemble the lter
1. Open the package and check carefully if there is any
obvious damage to the lter.
2. Check if the lter cartridge and the waterpump are
assembled properly as in picture 1. Make sure the
cartridge xing bracket is inserted completely into
the casing. Check if the lter cartridge is inserted
into the cartridge xing bracket and if the hook is
installed at the back of the body. (Hook position
can be adjusted according to the aquariumtank
waterlevel.)
3. Hang the lter on the proper position of the
aquarium tank and use the suction cup to x the
lter onto the surface of the aquarium tank as
shown in picture 2. Make sure that the waterlevel in
the aquarium tank is not lower than the minimum
water level of the lter as shown in picture 2.
4. Connect the lter to the power supply.
Maintain the lter
1. To make the best use of the lter and maintain its
function and eciency, please clean the lter and
its accessories at least once every two weeks.
2. If the lter cartridge is blocked, it should be cleaned
or replaced immediately, otherwise the ltering
eciency will become extremely low.
3. Clean the lter:
a. Disconnect from the power supply.
b. Take o the lter from the tank, open the lter
cartridge and empty the dirty water from the lter.
c. Wash the ltration chamber and the lter cartridge
with running water.
4. Wash the rotor assembly and the water chamber
thoroughly every three months as in the following
instructions:
a. Take out the xing bracket.
b. Remove the pump from the bracket.
c. Take o the impellor cover and take out the rotor
assembly.
d. Wash all the components of the lter thoroughly
with running water and reassemble all the parts as
shown in picture 1.
Reminder
Make sure that the power supply cord is inserted into
the power supply cord slot.
Important safety instructions
1. Please operate the appliance under the rated
voltage and use a separate receptacle that is well
grounded.
2. Add water regularly to keep the water surface above
the minimum water level of the lter.
3. Stop using the lter if it has a damaged or aged cord
or plug, if it’s malfunctioning or if it shows abnormal
signs in any manner. Contact your local retailer if
necessary.
4. Before installing, cleaning or maintaining the lter,
please disconnect the lter from the power supply
to avoid electric shocks.
5. Don’t let the lter run dry.
