1. MEMORY: (SD models only, all other models have internal storage) Insert SD (Secure Digital) memory card
into the slot under the rubber cover on the side of the camera.
2. POWER: Open the battery cover under the base of the handle and insert a charged battery. The battery is
charged by the included adapter which is plugged into the camera under the small AC cover. (Battery life indicator
is displayed in the upper left corner of the LCD screen).
3. START: Press and hold the [Power] button until the LED turns on indicating the camera is initiating its start
sequence.
Remove the lens cap.
The LCD display will turn on and you will see the default start up screen (as above) showing a live infrared
image.
To turn the camera off hold the [Power] Button.
4. FOCUS: Focus is achieved by manually rotating the focusing ring on the infrared camera lens.
5. AUTO ADJUST: (Level and Span) When the camera is turned on it will, by default, be in the auto adjust mode.
This is indicated with the letter A at the bottom left of the viewing screen.
