Also, ensure the strainer isn't clogged and clean it if it is. Verify that the suction intake is submerged adequately and that the sump isn't too small, correcting the installation as needed. Finally, inspect the impeller and other wearing parts for damage or wear, replacing them and ensuring the impeller is properly centered and rotates freely.
