• Keep the ventilation slots ( 5) and
motor housing of the device clean. Use
a damp cloth or a brush to do this. Do
not wash down the equipment with wa-
ter, or submerge it in water.
Clean the cutter bar (2) carefully af-
ter each use. After using the equip-
ment, it is imperative to:
- Clean the blade (with an oily cloth);
- Oil the blade shaft with an oil can
or spray.
Storage
• Clean the equipment before putting it
away.
• Keep the trimmer in the blade protec-
tion (
10) supplied, in a dry place
and out of reach of children.
• In order to hang up the device directly
without blade protection (
10), there
is a drill hole in the impact protection
(
1).
Waste Disposal and En-
vironmental Protection
Be environmentally friendly. Return the
tool, accessories and packaging to a recy-
cling centre when you have nished with
them.
Electrical machines do not belong
in domestic waste.
Take the equipment to a waste disposal
site. The plastic and metal parts that are
used can be separated out into pure
grade, which allows recycling. Ask our
Service Centre for details.
Defective units returned to us will be dis-
posed of for free.
