You have just purchased a device for killing light sensitive flying insects.
Read the following information to obtain maximum performance and to
acquaint you with your new Flowtron Electronic Insect Killer.
OPERATION
Your insect killer is designed to attract light-sensitive flying insects and to kill them cleanly. As insects fly
toward the light, they are killed when they pass through the electrically charged grid. The outer protective
enclosure prevents children, pets and wildlife from coming in contact with the charged grid. The Flowtron
electronic insect killer will not be damaged by rain or moisture. If during heavy rains excessive arcing
occurs and is objectionable,
simple disconnect unit.

1. Install the unit two to three metres above the ground to prevent children, pets and wildlife from
coming in contact with it.
2. Use three-wire grounding type 115/120 volt AC outlet and three-wire grounded extension cord
intended for outdoor use.
3. Never place fingers or hands, or insert any objects into th
e unit while it is connected to an electrical outlet.
4. Always disconnect the unit before cleaning, servicing, handling or disassembling unit.
5. Clean dead insects from bottom of unit frequently to reduce risk of fire.
6. Connect unit to properly grounded outlet only.
7. Keep extension cord connections dry and off the ground.
8. Do not abuse power cord. Never carry unit by cord or yank it to disconnect from receptacle.
9. Keep power cord from heat, oil and sharp edges

TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Flowtron warrants your electronic insect killer to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service for two years from date of original purchase. All
parts which are defective, except for burned out bulbs, will be repaired free of charge. Any implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability are also limited
in duration to the
two year period from the original purchase date.
The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any Flowtron Electronic Insect killer which has been subject to misuse, neglect or accident, nor which is used for a purpose for
which it is not designed, or which shall have been repaired or altered in any way so as to adversely affect its performance and reliability. Service by unauthorized parties
voids
your warranty. Warranty covers only the original purchaser. Commercial and/or professional use is excluded from warranty coverage.
Flowtron neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume for it any other liability in connection with its product. No responsibility is assumed for any consequential
damages that may result from the use of a Flowtron product, nor for damages due to accident, a
buse, lack of responsible care, the affixing of any unauthorized
attachment, loss of parts or subjecting this unit to any but the specified voltage.

2. Utiliser un cordon de rallonge pour extérieur, muni d’une fiche à trois broches avec
mise à la terre, pour
brancher dans une prise de courant à 3 ouvertures avec mise à la terre, de type 115/120 volts CA.
3. Ne jamais insérer les doigts, les mains ou tout autre objet à l’intérieur de l’unité, lorsque celle-ci est
branchée dans une prise de courant.
4, Toujours débrancher l’unité avant le nettoyage, l’entretien, la manipuler ou le démontage.
5. Nettoyer fréquemment les restes d’insecte
s morts de la base de l’unité, pour réduire les risques d’incendie.
6. Brancher l’unité uniquement dans une prise électrique adéquate, munie d’une mise à la terre.
7. Maintenir les connexions de cordon de rallonge, au sec et au-dessus du sol.
8. Manipuler correctement le cordon d’alimentation électrique, sans en abuser. Ne jamais transporter l’unité par
le cordon, ni tirer le cordon pour débrancher l’
unité.
9. Maintenir le cordon d’alimentation électrique à l’écart de la chaleur, de l’huile ou de rebords coupants.
GARANTIE LIMITÉE – DEUX AN
Flowtron garantit que votre exterminateur électronique pour insectes est exempt de tout défaut de matériaux et de main d’œuvre, lorsque sujet à un usage et un entretien normaux, durant deux
période deux an, à partir de la date d’achat original. Toutes les pièces défectueuses, à l’exception d’ampoules brûlées, seront réparées sans frais. Toutes garanties implicites, compren
ant toute
