9.2 Replacing Suction and Discharge Valves
1. Remove cap screw (58) and valve cover
clamp (57) from the front of the fluid
cylinder (38).
2. Insert the end of a standard screwdriver
into the valve cover (56) groove and pry
the valve cover away from the fluid
cylinder (38).
3. Remove the valve cage (55) and
discharge valve disc-spring assembly (53,
54) from both bores of the fluid cylinder
(38).
