This document provides an operation manual for FOAMICO ULTRA NEXT cleaning systems, including models MS 0106-2-XA (7001412), MS 0106-1 (7001414), MS 0106-2 (7001415), MSC 0106-1 (7001416), and MSC 0106-1 (7001417). The manual covers various aspects of the device, from installation and operation to maintenance and technical specifications.
Function Description
The FOAMICO ULTRA NEXT is a low-pressure system designed for cleaning. Its primary function is to rinse, spread foam, and disinfect surfaces. The system is manufactured mainly of high-grade stainless steel, ensuring durability and hygiene standards. It is designed to meet today's high hygiene standards, making it suitable for environments requiring thorough cleaning. The system utilizes a pump to deliver water and cleaning agents, and it includes an injector system for precise chemical application. Depending on the model, it can perform rinsing, foaming, spray disinfection, foam cleaning (e.g., acid), and foam cleaning (e.g., alkaline).
Important Technical Specifications
The technical specifications vary slightly between models (MS 0106-EX/MS 0106 and MSC 0106).
The system can be supplied with either a 240V AC or 24V DC electrical diagram, depending on the model.
Usage Features
The FOAMICO ULTRA NEXT system is designed for ease of use and safety.
- Operation Modes: The system supports various operation modes, including start/stop, rinsing, foam operation, and spray disinfection.
- Chemical Dosing: The system uses an injector to mix cleaning agents with water. The concentration of the detergent can be adjusted based on the size of the nozzle and the desired viscosity. The manual provides a table for recommended concentrations based on size and concentration percentage.
- Safety Precautions: Users are advised to wear suitable working clothes, goggles, respirators, and rubber gloves. Non-slip footwear is recommended. The system should not be operated without proper training. The water jet can cause serious injury, so direct contact with the jet should be avoided. The noise level from the equipment can exceed 70dB(A) during rinsing, so ear protectors are recommended.
- Installation: The system should be installed by authorized electricians. It requires a solid, frost-free room with adequate water and power supply. The main station should be connected to an adequate pipe system.
- Venting: The system includes a venting process to ensure proper operation. This involves connecting the hose to the coupling, opening the low-pressure valve/gun, and allowing the pump to run dry for approximately 3-5 minutes.
- Detergent Supply: The system is designed to work with MS 0106 without a compressor, relying on the water supply for operation. For models with a compressor, it ensures a continuous supply of air.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of the FOAMICO ULTRA NEXT system.
- Rinsing Hose: The rinsing hose should be checked for damage or wear weekly. Damaged hoses must be replaced immediately.
- Nozzles: Nozzles should be checked for damage or wear monthly. Worn nozzles can lead to less effective cleaning and higher water usage. Regular cleaning and replacement of nozzles are recommended.
- Low Pressure Valves / Guns: These components should be checked regularly for tightness. Swivels, handles, and any damaged parts should be replaced.
- Couplings: Couplings should be cleaned and greased regularly. Worn O-rings should be replaced.
- Ball Valves: Ball valves should be checked for leakage every month.
- Non-Return Valves: Non-return valves are important for preventing water from running back into the air system. They should be checked regularly, and any faulty valves should be replaced.
- Suction Filter / Chemical Hose: The suction filter for chemical should be cleaned once every week. It is recommended to change filter and chemical inlet hose every year.
- Troubleshooting: The manual includes a comprehensive troubleshooting guide with common faults, their causes, and recommended actions. This covers issues like no rinsing pressure, unstable rinsing pressure, the system not sucking up detergent, and low foam quality.
- Spare Parts: The manual provides detailed diagrams and lists of spare parts for the main station, pipe system, foam and rinse block, positioning ring, injector, and air compressor. This facilitates easy identification and ordering of replacement parts.
- Electrical Diagrams: Electrical diagrams for both 240V AC and 24V DC systems are provided to assist with electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Flow Diagrams: Flow diagrams illustrate the internal workings of the system, showing the path of water, chemical, and air, which is helpful for understanding and diagnosing operational issues.
The system is designed to be user-friendly, but adherence to the manual's instructions is essential for safe and efficient operation and maintenance.
