PART EIGHT: SHORTCUT MANUAL
Don't have time to read the full manual? Here are the most important facts
about your new L•TVPortable Pro:
1) The cables we provide to connect your computer monitor and your com-
puter to L•TV Portable Pro are special. Other cables with similar con-
nectors almost surely won't work. On the other hand, the connection from
the L•TV Portable Pro to your TVor VCR is a standard video cable.
2) The ends of the (optional) Macintosh cables are labeled. Make sure you
plug in the end labeled "MAC" to your computer and the other end to
L•TVPortable Pro.
3) A computer running in a 640 by 480 graphics mode will give you the best
image quality.
4) For best image quality, keep V_SIZE and H_SIZE at maximum.
5) S - Video connections give cleaner video than composite (RCA)
connections.
6) Holding down button combinations during power-up of the L•TV
Portable Pro does interesting stuff.
7) If you don't have a TVthat has a composite video input, you can loop it
through a VCR and have the VCR drive your TV.

Warranty: This FOCUS Enhancements product warran-
ty extends to the original purchaser.
Warranty coverage: FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. warrants this
product against defects in material or work-
manship as follows:
Parts - New or comparable rebuilt parts in exchange for defective parts
one year after original purchase.
Labor & Service - Carry-in service or delivery of the product prepaid &
insured to an authorized FOCUS Enhancements service facility or to
the factory one year after original purchase. We suggest that you retain
the dealer’s dated bill of sale or FOCUS Enhancements invoice as evi-
dence of the date of purchase.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN
DAMAGED BY ACCIDENT OR UNREASONABLE USE, AL-
T E R ATION, NEGLECT, IMPROPER SERVICE OR OTHER
CAUSES NOTARISING OUTOF DEFECTS IN MATERIALOR
WORKMANSHIP, OR IF THE SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN
ALTERED OR DEFACED.
