INTELLIGENT ACCESS*
Note: Your intelligent
access transmitter must
be within 3 feet (1 meter)
of your vehicle.
To unlock and open a
front door, pull a front
exterior door handle. Once
you unlock your vehicle, you
can press the exterior trunk
release button

near the
license plate. To lock the doors, press
and hold the door handle lock sensor.
The intelligent access transmitter also
contains a mechanical key blade. You
can use it to unlock the driver door or
lock the glove box, if necessary (if your
vehicle has a locking glove box).

SECURICODE™
KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD*
The keypad

is near the
driver’s window,
It illuminates
when touched. To
get started, you
need your 5-digit
factory code
found on your
owner’s wallet
card (located in
the glove box).
Entering this
code unlocks the
driver’s door. To
lock all of the doors, press and hold 7•8
and 9•0 at the same time. You do not
need to use the five-digit code first.
To unlock all doors, enter the five-digit
code, and then press and hold 3•4
within five seconds.

section in the Locks chapter of your
Owner’s Manual.
REMOTE START*
Remote start allows you to start the
engine from outside. To start, press
and then press twice within three
seconds. The exterior lamps flash twice.
Your vehicle runs for 5, 10, or 15
minutes, depending on the setting.
See the Information Displays chapter
to select the duration of the remote
start system.
Once inside, apply the brake while
pressing the START STOP button.
If you have an integrated keyhead
transmitter, insert the key into the
ignition and switch on the ignition as
you normally would before driving.

AUTOWIPERS*
If switched on, your wipers
automatically turn on when moisture
is present on the windshield. The
wiper speed varies based on the
amount of moisture detected
and on the sensitivity setting.
You can change this feature to
regular intermittent wipe through
the Information Display. See the
Information Display chapter in
your Owner’s Manual for details.
Note: Make sure you switch this feature o
before entering a car wash.
GLOBAL OPENING*
Use the remote control to operate the
windows with the ignition o. Aer you
unlock your vehicle, press and hold the
remote control unlock button to open
the windows and vent the moonroof.
Release the button once movement
starts. Press the lock or unlock button
to stop movement.
Note: Only the front windows operate during
global opening.
AUTOLAMPS
When the lighting control is in the
autolamp position , the headlamps
automatically turn on in low light
situations or during inclement weather.
Other features may also turn on when
you switch them on in the information
display and the lighting control is in the
autolamp position :
• Configurable daytime
running lamps*.
• Automatic high beam control*.
• Adaptive headlamp control*.
Note: The headlamps remain on for a
selectable period of time aer you switch
o the ignition.

POWER ADJUSTABLE FOOT PEDALS*
You can find the control on
the le side of the steering column.
Press and hold the appropriate side of
the control to move the pedals farther
or closer to you.
Press to move the pedals closer
to you.
Press to move the pedals away
from you.
Adjust the pedals only when your
vehicle is in park (P).
Note: Never use the controls while your feet
are on the accelerator and brake pedals and
the vehicle is moving.
