IMPORTANT NOTE: The device must be professionally installed and must use the
supplied antennas.
The unit is designed for outdoor use and may be attached to either a pole or wall.
Note: The device can be mounted either outdoors or indoors. The included PoE injector
must be mounted indoors, as it is not weatherproof.

The FortiAP 224D unit provides dual
concurrent radio signals. Use the 2.4GHz
antenna mounts to access 802.11b/g/n
signals, and the 5GHz antenna mounts
to access 802.11a/n signals. To use both
radio frequencies concurrently, use all four
WiFi antennas.
To Install the WiFi antennas
1. Insert the antenna base firmly into the
appropriate antenna mount.
2. Securely hand tighten the fastening
collar.
3. Repeat for the remaining antennas.
