1. Assembling / Filling
Before using the dispenser please check the dispenser
for any damage or glass breakage.
Push intake tube over the hose connection of the
PTFE valve block.
Screw dispenser direct onto containers with thread GL
32 or use adaptors to x on any other threads or ground
joint necks. Check the correct tting. The dispenser
can be turned on the ask and xed in any direction
by using the built-in FIX adaptor.

Never use the OPTIFIX
®
Dispensers with:
- liquids attacking Al

and PTFE
- liquids attacking borosilicate glass (exept with the OPTIFIX
®
HF)
Warning:
The BASIC and SOLVENT model come with adaptors made of polypropylene
to t on most popular containers. However, when dosing extremely hazardous
chemicals, for safety reasons it is recommended to use adaptors made of
PTFE for BASIC and SOLVENT model which are available as an option.
III. Modern Technique
Finger guard made of PP. All descriptions on the nger guard and the graduation
on the scale are lasered to guarantee permanence.
Volume setting system Easy-to-use volume setting system with ne adjustment
for calibration. Suitable for use by left- and right-handers.
Dispensing cylinder Glass cylinder, vacuum-calibrated, plastic coated, with
stopper ring. Black graduation. Model HF with dispensing cylinder made of pure
PTFE.
Valve block made of pure solid PTFE, with FIX Adaptor.
Valve seats made of glass, precision ground for precision sapphire valve balls.
No metal springs. Works by means of gravity. Model HF with valve seats made
of sapphire.
Dispensing piston Model BASIC, SAFETY, SAFETY S and HF glass piston,
coated with solid PTFE, patented. Seal with model SAFETY, SAFETY S and HF.
Model SOLVENT with glass piston.
Discharge tube set consists of: discharge tube, support, screw cap, thread
adaptor and stopper cap.
