Overview

This document describes the FOTILE 2-IN-1 In-Sink Dishwasher, models SD2F-P3 and SD2F-P3L (dishwasher on the left), an appliance designed to integrate a sink and a dishwasher into a single unit. The product emphasizes fresh engineering and aims to bring happiness to your kitchen.

Function Description

The FOTILE In-Sink Dishwasher combines the functionality of a sink with a compact dishwasher. It offers three washing modes: Delicate, Normal, and Intensive, catering to different levels of tableware dirtiness. Beyond dishwashing, it features a self-cleaning function for the dishwasher cavity and can be used as a secondary sink with an optional cover accessory. The appliance is controlled via a micro-pressure waterproof touchscreen with a digital display for showing washing time and mode. It also includes an automatic reminder for cleaning completion, water leakage protection, and a child lock.

Usage Features

The operation interface includes keys for Open, Dishes, Self-Clean, Mode, Start/Pause, and Power.

  • Opening the Door: Press the Open key in a non-working state. In a working state, press Start/Pause then Open.
  • Dish Washing Program:
    1. Place the dishwashing basket and load tableware.
    2. Press and hold the Power key.
    3. Press the Open key to put in bowls and dishes.
    4. Select Dishes.
    5. (Optional) Select a mode (Delicate, Normal, Intensive).
    6. Press Start/Pause to begin washing.
    7. After washing and drying, the screen displays "00". The system enters a drying state and shuts down automatically after 30 minutes, unless the Power key and Open key are pressed for emergency use.
  • Detergent Placement: For powder, place at the bottom of the tank. For pods, place in the debris basket. Pre-rinsing tableware is suggested to avoid food debris interfering with the spray arm.
  • Self-Cleaning:
    1. Press and hold the Power key.
    2. Press the Open key.
    3. Select Self-clean.
    4. Press Start/Pause to begin cleaning and drying.
    5. After completion, "00" is displayed. For better cleaning, add a descaling agent.
  • Secondary Sink Cover Accessory (Optional):
    • Remove the dishwasher basket and replace it with the Secondary Sink Cover.
    • Water Inflow: Press and hold the Mode key for 2 seconds until a "click" is heard. The drainage valve closes, and the sink fills.
    • Water Drainage: Press and hold the Start/Pause key for 2 seconds until a "click" is heard. The drainage valve opens, draining water. It closes automatically after 30 minutes.
  • Tableware Placement:
    • Avoid fragile items touching other tableware.
    • Prevent overlapping to ensure effective cleaning.
    • For fewer dishes, load at intervals.
    • Ensure spoon handles and other tableware do not extend beyond the bottom of the dish rack to avoid interfering with the rotary spray arm.
    • Knives, forks, and spoons should not lean against the door when closing.
    • Knives and sharp utensils should be loaded with points down or placed horizontally in the basket.
  • Washable Tableware/Material:
    • Washable: Aluminum, Ceramics, Crystal, Glass, High Temperature Plastics, Stainless Steel, Pure Silver.
    • Not Washable: Disposable Aluminum Bottles/Cans (adhesive label), Cast Iron (rusts), Wooden Ivory (distorts/cracks), Aurum (discolors), Knives with Hollow Handles (adhesive loosens), Copper and Bronze (distorts/discolors), Disposable Plastics (cannot withstand hot water/detergent).

Maintenance Features

  • Daily Cleaning:
    1. Gently clean residual dirt from the door.
    2. Clean walls and corners of the sink.
    3. Remove the residue basket by turning counterclockwise, empty, and wash.
    4. Remove the rotary spray arm by turning counterclockwise and clean it.
    5. Remove and clean the filter screen.
    6. Clean the bottom of the sink.
    7. Reinstall all components correctly.
  • Maintenance Recommendations:
    1. Sealing Strip: Do not use detergent. Replace if holes or cracks appear.
    2. Tempered Glass Panel: Wash by hand with hot water, dishwashing liquid, and a soft sponge. Dry with a soft cloth. Do not use scouring pads or metal scourers.
    3. Stainless-Steel Sink:
      • Apply a layer of oil during decoration or for long periods of non-use to prevent rust.
      • Wash frequently with neutral detergent and clean gently with clean water. Dry with a sponge or rag.
      • Avoid high-salt or erosive foods (lemons, sauce, pickles, mustard) in the sink for extended periods.
      • Keep away from strong bleaching powder, household chemicals, and soaps.
      • Avoid sharp/hard utensils to prevent scraping/scratching.
      • Do not leave low carbon steel or cast iron kitchenware, steel wool, rubber dishwashing tablets, or wet sponges in the sink for long periods to prevent rust/mildew.
      • For rust/mildew stains, apply household toothpaste and wipe off with a rag. Do not use wire wool or polishing materials.
    4. Spray Arm and Debris Basket: Remove by turning counterclockwise and wash.
    5. Control Panel: Do not leave water on it after washing.
    6. Food Debris: Clean the debris basket immediately after each washing session to maintain washing capability and prevent odors.
    7. Incrustation: Clean the functional sink with vinegar and soda ash/carbonate.
    8. Self-Cleaning: Recommended at regular intervals or after long periods of non-use.
  • Troubleshooting: If abnormalities occur, stop use, unplug the power cord, and check:
    • Abnormal sound: Check spray arm installation and tableware placement.
    • Display screen/key not responding: Check power connection.
    • Smelly: Perform daily cleaning.
    • Secondary Sink cannot drain: In shutdown state, press and hold Start/Pause for 2 seconds to open the drain valve.
    • Door cannot open: Check if power is cut off. If not, open the lower cabinet, find the white door string, and gently pry the door armrest with a straight screwdriver while pulling down the string.
    • Display Code E1 (Door lock fault): Gently press the door downward. If issue persists, contact FOTILE customer service.
    • Display Code E2 (Low water pressure): Ensure inlet valve is fully open. If issue persists, contact FOTILE customer service.
    • Display Code E8 (Water leakage/door not tightly sealed): Ensure inlet valve is fully open. If issue persists, contact FOTILE customer service.
    • Other Display Codes: Contact FOTILE customer service.

Warranty and Customer Service

FOTILE dishwasher products come with a five-year limited warranty: 1 year full warranty on Parts and Labor, and 4 years limited warranty on the dishwasher motor only. The warranty covers original purchasers and subsequent owners in the US.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Free door-to-door service for installation guidance or product use.
  • Improper transportation, installation, or maintenance by the user.
  • Product failure due to abuse, misuse, modification, or commercial use.
  • Damage from cleaning/maintenance not in accordance with instructions.
  • Damage from accident, fire, flood, force majeure.
