Quick Installation guide
The MOD-HDTV MICRO can be programmed using Bluetooth interface by downloading the
appropriate Fracarro application from the Android or iOS market for free:
Step No 1
Power up the MOD-HDTV MICRO by adding the external power supply (12VDC/1A). The MOD-
HDTV MICRO will need 20-30 secs to initialize itself. When the front led will remain constantly green,
the modulator is ready for setup and for connection to smartphone or tablet by through the Bluetooth,
connection. The app will scan for any available devices that are within range. The list that appears,
shorts first the device closest to your phone or tablet. If your phone or tablet is moved closer to another
device, that device will immediately move on top of the list. Choose the device that you want to connect
with, press “Connect” and the status indicator will become red.
Step No 2
Typing the password 1234 in Device PIN”, the MOD-HDTV MICRO modulator will be ready for
installation setup.
- Select Quick Settings to quickly setup the modulator (RF output channel, Output Attenuator,
Profile).
- Select “DVB-T” to set up the output RF channel and the modulation parameters.
- Select Output Attenuatorto adjust the output RF level by selecting the output attenuation (0dB,
10dB, -20 dB). The max RF output level is 90dBμV.
- Select “Encoder” to modify the video and audio bitrate and resolution (signal quality).
- Select Transport Streamto set up the Transport Stream’s parameters (Service ID, Network Name,
LCN).
Step No 3
By clicking on “Other settings”, the user will be able to modify the security PIN, to rename the Device,
to update the modulator and to modify the application settings.
