The X1 espresso appliance uses the EASY
SERVING ESPRESSO (E.S.E.) system. For best
results, use the E.S.E. servings. These are easily
identifiable by referring to the logo that appears
on the packing and on the espresso appliance itself. The
E.S.E. system has a number of advantages. First, the
quality of the espresso coffee is consistent, irrespective of
the user’s level of experience. Second, it is easy and very
quick to use. And finally, it is very easy to clean. However,
it is crucial that E.S.E. servings are stored in a closed
container, in a dry and well-ventilated location.
